Everyone’s a Teacher!

The author William Arthur Ward wrote, “The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.” The traditional view of a teacher is one who has taken the content and methodology courses, earned the degree and is in charge of a classroom of eager learners. However, there is an expanded view of the role of teacher that effects us all.

We are all teachers in our own way every day of our life. Our thoughts, attitude and behavior speaks volumes and serves as a model to those around us in this classroom called life. As a life teacher we can see that sometimes what people need may differ from what they want – yet we help them learn to appreciate what they need because we believe in them and want them to be happy and successful.

Take a moment and think about a challenge that has been presented to you recently. How did you handle it? Did you demonstrate the strength and tenacity to overcome and work through it with grace? Did you look past the issue at hand and demonstrate with confidence the belief that ‘this too shall pass?’ Hopefully, you did because without even realizing it someone – a student – is watching…When you think about the role of life teacher to those you love the ultimate question is – are you satisfied with your teaching? Is it the best it can be? Are you helping to instill in them a belief that ‘All is as it should be’ and that life is a never ending quest of personal development?

Take a moment and think about the best teacher you had in life. I’ll bet that person inspired you to achieve, to reach a higher level of understanding, acceptance and achievement. They refused to allow you to use others or circumstances as an excuse but encouraged and pushed you to be better because they believed in you. Wouldn’t it be incredible if each of us became that ‘best teacher’ to at least one other person sometime in our life?

As a model for others the greatest gift we can give them is the understanding that although they can’t always control the cards they are dealt, they can control the way they play them. We can help them discover that they have the capacity to overcome against all odds and will actually develop more self-confidence from these life challenges along the way.

Life is difficult, not for the faint of heart, but above all it is fair. It is exactly what we chose for this incarnation even with all the challenging lessons we may be presently encountering. Each has a purpose, a reason for being.

There is a saying that when the student is ready the teacher comes along. Be ready to be that teacher to someone in your life by modeling the behavior that you want to see in them. Your contribution will be immeasurable in helping someone further discover their strengths and change the world!

Enough ‘Stuff!’

The holiday season is upon us and with it the choice to buy more ‘stuff.’ I’m not talking about the gifts we buy for others but about the marketing message to ‘buy something special for ourselves.’ It seems to have become a right of passage that holiday shopping is not complete unless we remember to ‘gift’ ourselves. Thus the topic of more stuff becomes a reality.

George Carlin, the comedian who attempted to raise our social consciousness for over 30 years did a classic standup routine about the importance we place on acquiring ‘stuff’ in our lives. Although he died in 2008 his observations are timeless. His YouTube video is worth watching.

Are we so superficial that simply acquiring things is our end game? If so, will that next outfit, car, or house cause us to reach a state of Nirvana where we finally say to ourselves, ‘Now I have everything I want.’ Probably not. Obsessive behavior breeds itself. Could in be that our continual buying and accumulating is simply a way to feed our insatiable egos and to keep the heavy lifting of self improvement at bay? Honestly looking at our own insecurities and doing something about them is the real gift we can give ourselves this season. The bottom line is that we will never acquire enough to give us self-confidence or peace in our lives. That takes time and courage to a whole lot of deep digging. Who we are as a person and what is truly important to us are big questions that may be worth pondering.

Put another way, is having the biggest, fastest or most stuff in our lives really the goal we want to work toward? There was a bumper sticker in the ’90’s that read, ‘The Man With the Most Toys Wins.’ Really? My question is wins what? Have we linked our identity to the ‘stuff’ we so fervently purchase? An easy way to check our values is to think about what we would take with us if we had 20 minutes to evacuate our surroundings. In a survey on happiness most people responded to this question by saying they would take their family pictures. Their response shows that love and relationships trumps things or stuff every time. Our own answer to this question reveals what’s most important in our own life.

When you think about what we will take out of this world (literally the clothes on our backs) when we pass on it puts everything in perspective. Rather than falling into the trap of accepting the holiday marketing message of ‘gifting’ ourselves we could stop, look and listen to our hearts. In so doing we may decide that turning the kaleidoscope of our thinking ever so slightly to develop a deeper understanding of self and offering true caring for others is the true message of the holiday season. If we want to ‘gift’ ourselves maybe we could do so by mending fences, seeking compromise or offering a hand to someone in need. Those are the types of gifts that keep on giving and last a lifetime.

A recent article in The New York Times stated that due to lower gas prices we will be able to buy more ‘stuff’ this holiday season. Great, just what we needed! Maybe – just maybe – we can think about a better use of our time, attention and money. Could it be it all boils down to determining what is really most important in our lives and reallocating our time to nurturing them? That’s something you can’t buy – it’s way more valuable than a mere purchase – but its worth its weight in gold. It’s something to think about…

Make Your Life 100% Successful!

My last blog was on how to increase our energy level by becoming more aware that our thinking and behavior either enhances or depletes our energy. The more positive our thoughts the more energy we gain. Likewise, the more we surround ourselves with negative messages – from ourselves or others the more exhausted we become. There is another important aspect involved in gaining more energy and it is all about what we think we deserve.

In 2007 Gay Hendricks wrote a book entitled, ‘Five Wishes’ which talked about projecting our life forward in time to when we are on our deathbed and then asking ourself the question, ‘Was my life a total success?’ At first this might sound like a rather morbid, self-defeating exercise but it really isn’t. It can bring greater clarity to our thinking about our priorities for happiness which will serve us well in the future. Hendricks went on to explain that after we ask ourselves the million dollar question if the answer was no, we go to step two and ask ourselves what we wished had happened differently to make it so. For instance, maybe we did not feel that we had a great relationship with our family members and wished to have a more open, loving, supportive one. Now comes the punch line…we rewrite that wish into a goal statement exactly as we want it to be without worrying about how, when or where. The specifics are not important. The act of rewriting your ‘deathbed reality’ into one that clearly states what you would see as total success is the most important thing you can do for yourself. If you choose to do this exercise remember there are no limitations or conditions for you to consider. Your goals are not dependent upon others – they are yours and yours alone. Just remember the statement, ‘If it’s going to be it’s up to me.’ This is your life and the sky’s the limit. You can have or achieve anything you want that would cause you to feel that your life was a total success. Simply rewrite your wishes into goals – first person – present tense such as ‘I am loved and accepted by all of my family members.’ (You may be thinking … she doesn’t know my family members or situation!) That’s true but I do know what works in life and am convinced that goal setting is the key to unlock the door to greater happiness.

For those of you who are too timid or humble to believe you can achieve whatever success you want in life, I have a question for you. Who told you that you were only entitled to a mere crumb of bread rather than the whole piece? Do you really feel that when you were born your forehead was stamped with a message that said, ‘This one deserves less happiness in life!’ Of course not. That type of limitation thinking has been generated from your background and you may have, unfortunately, worked diligently day after day to make it ‘truth.’ Well, it’s time to change this ‘truth’ and your life.

You have the right, obligation really, to be infinitely happy and to know that on your deathbed your last thought will be that your life WAS a total success. All you have to do is believe you are worth it. I think we all deserve a life that is 100% successful for us. All we have to do is BELIEVE to make it a reality. Remember the statement, ‘ Ask and it shall be given.’ I don’t read any limitation in that statement – do you? As human beings we have chosen to place limitations on what we think we are entitled to in life and that is in err to what God or the Universal Energy is all about.

Over the next few days think about three to five statements that you could make on your deathbed that would indicate that your life was a total success. The more you think about them the further down the rabbit hole you go until you discover the ultimate priorities for your life. It will be an exciting discovery.

Need More Energy?

How is your energy level lately? When you ask that question of people they often respond by saying that they feel wiped out and in need of more rest. What causes us to feel exhausted just from our normal activities? Could it be that our energy is being depleted without realizing it by our own beliefs and behaviors?

We know that everything in our life starts and ends with energy. In fact, we are little conduits or balls of energy that seek out, like a homing pigeon, more of what we are manifesting or giving out to the Universe. Think about it. What programs do you watch on T.V.? Are they filled with negative energy? What types of conversation do you engage in? Are they filled with angst or drama?

When you listen to the news does it seem to be one problem or catastrophe after another? There’s a reason for that – it’s called marketing. With our 24/7 news coverage and each station competing for higher ratings what would have been a somewhat news worthy story in the past has become a dramatic encounter of the third kind. Often, these stories worry us, wear us down until we wonder if the world will ever be right again. If we take in the news before going to work it can start our day with negative, worry filled thoughts that remain with us no matter how hard we try to shake them.

Listen to those folks you interact with during the day. Are they upbeat, filled with ideas about making their lives or the world better or are they depressed, worried and just trying to make it through another day? Are the actual words used in conversations energy giving or energy draining? For instance, when you talk about love, hope or happiness you can feel the positive vibes just as surely as you can feel the weight of words such as loss, hurt, rejection. What words are you most commonly using?

If you visualize any of these negative experiences as energy that clings on to you and effects your psyche you can see why at the end of the day you are exhausted. It is not simply from working long hours but more importantly it’s from the negative ‘cling ons’ that you gather during the day from your own thinking or the thinking of others.

Remaining positive in the face of our life challenges is hard. But we can do it IF we are aware of and control our own thinking and the influence that other people and situations have on us. Our own backpacks are exactly the weight we have chosen to carry and work through in this lifetime. Carrying someone else’s weight simply doesn’t work because they don’t learn their own life lessons in the process. Ultimately, recognizing the effect that negative energy has on us is the first step in controlling our life experiences. Limiting the amount of time we spend with others who are engage in seeing their cup as half-empty is important. It doesn’t mean you don’t care about them it simply means you have become astute enough to realize that only they can do something about their issues. Letting go of the title, ‘Fixer In Charge’ is an important step in helping others as well as yourself. When they realize you will no longer engage in the on-going conversation, once again, about how bad they have it, they can then choose to use the time more productively and do something about their life challenges. If they choose to accept responsibility and change their thinking they will change their life. The operative word here is CHOOSE.

Happiness is not as elusive as we might think. It starts and ends by taking control of our own thinking and experiences with others. When we choose happiness and go about living our lives expecting good things to happen the amazing thing is our life changes for the better. We are sending out positive intentions to the Universe and attracting more positive energy back to us. It really boils down to the question, ‘Are we ready to take control of our thinking and our life?’ Let’s do it!

Follow Your Hunches!

Remember when we were kids and a parent or other close family member would encourage us just by being there when we needed to talk. Their comforting words such as, ‘You’ll be okay’ or ‘Just sleep on it’ gave us a sense that everything would work out. We felt a degree of peace knowing that they cared deeply and understood what we were going through at the moment. We trusted their counsel and knew they were in our corner as they gave us a sense of hope for tomorrow. As we grew older some of those individuals may have passed on leaving a feeling of void in our lives. Just when we needed to hear a reassuring word and were questioning what to do next we realized that we could no longer turn to them. Yet, in the midst of our thoughts we may have felt an urge to follow a certain path. Could our loved ones have left an indelible mark on our psyche that serves us even today? Unconditional love is like that – it remains forever in our hearts. Maybe they taught us to believe in ourselves and trust that things will always work out. Is it possible that their energy remains around us to cheer us on especially when we are struggling?

When was the last time you had a hunch or feeling that urged you to take a certain action. Where did it come from? Did you follow it? Regardless of where these messages come from they are meant to help us as we live through the many challenges we encounter. Often, when we are doing everyday things such as taking a shower, working in a garden or just driving a familiar route to work a thought will come to us, supposedly out of the blue, regarding something that we have been wrestling with for some time. All of a sudden the answer seems so obvious. We have clearer insight regarding the issue. The clouded thinking we had been experiencing vanishes just as it did long ago when we were able to seek the comforting shoulder of our loved one to lean on. When we follow our intuitive sense of knowing our paths just flow more smoothly. We think to ourselves, ‘Things are just falling into place’ or ‘This is easier than I expected.’ Why? Simply put we are following the loving guidance of the Universe and those that have come before us.

Conversely, when we ignore these urgings or inner guidance the road seems to be full of bumps and detours which often cause us to feel we are living life in the neutral zone of waiting. Waiting for what we wonder? Yet the answer does not come and we continue to perseverate on the issue. For the moment our life journey has become too difficult to traverse. Our thinking seems confused, scattered and we choose to put off any decision making until we feel more in control. When we feel out-of-sync in our lives it is a message from the Universe that we are not listening – not following our reticular activating system which is our internal guidance system that finds our emotional home base. We have put this inner guidance system on hold.

The next time you find yourself feeling scattered – unable to confidently move forward just think about that certain someone in your life that was or is always there for you, cheering you on. Ask yourself what they would tell you and then just listen for your intuitive sense to pick up the message. It is always there for us – unconditional love just works that way.

The Energy of Human Touch

As I wrote in my book, ‘Just Behind The Door,’ energy cannot be created nor destroyed only changed in form. Understanding this concept is one thing but actually seeing or feeling it in action is another. When we walk into a room we can feel if others are welcoming us into their space. Beyond body language there is just this feeling that we get that tells us how other people are responding to our energy. It may be hard to fully explain and can’t actually be seen by the naked eye but without question we just know it – we can feel it in every cell of our bodies. Isn’t that amazing!

When we study energy and learn more about how energy can actually be enhanced through approaches such as Reiki it’s a humbling experience. Reiki practitioners are taught how to actually feel the energy of others with their hands and redirect it to help a person dislodge their own blocked energy. Reiki teaches us how to connect with the Universal Energy source and be a conduit to help others. It also allows the practitioners to attain a better energy flow in their own life as they consciously tap into the ever present energy that surrounds them.

Human touch truly is magical. It can help dry a child’s tears or let a loved one know we are there to help them when the going gets rough. When we take the time to hug someone or pat their arm to comfort them it is not merely a loving gesture. We are actually giving them energy often without realizing it. Yet, if we look closely we can see their eyes brighten as they begin to relax and breathe more deeply. Their shoulders relax and we can see the difference created from this infusion of energy. When we visit someone who is in need our presence is actually a gift of energy, carefully wrapped within the loving arms of kindness. From time to time we may hear people say they are hesitant to visit someone who has recently experienced a loss in their life because they don’t know what to say – yet in reality few words need to be exchanged because it is the energy exchange in the personal connection that is so valuable to a fellow traveler. At times it can be their life line.

We can see the beauty of this energy exchange especially with Hospice patients. As their own energy begins to fade over the course of their illness they begin to eagerly wait for their next Hospice visit. They just seem to intuitively know that they will receive the energy they need to face another day. We can’t extend their life but we can make the days that they have left just a little bit better by our presence.

Take a moment to observe the vital importance of human contact in all walks of your life and you will arrive at a deeper awareness that it is really the exchange of energy that is at the heart of the matter. It makes all the difference.

Compare No More!

Dr. Marci Shimoff a prolific author and lecturer talks about the need to ‘upgrade our personal operating system.’ She explains that we have two possible operating systems available to us. The first is from a negativity bias which seems to have become terribly overused. In fact, of the approximate 60,000 thoughts we have per day, 80% are negative thoughts of fear, worry and judgment. With this operating system it is a challenge just to get through the day! Life is seen through the eyes of exhaustion. Negative energy robs us of the light source of love and happiness. People in this mindset live in the past (regret) or the future (worry) and miss today – The Now – and the chance to be all they can be.

Dr. Shimoff suggests that we need to upgrade our own personal operating system to one that comes from our soul source of love. This is where miracles are generated. From this mindset, anything is possible and we wake each morning with a sense of purpose and gratitude because we have another day to make a difference in our own lives and in the lives of others.

How do we consciously shift our operating system from negative to positive? Living in the present is the first step. The second step is to honestly evaluate the amount of time that we spend in judging and comparing ourselves to others. Check yourself on this by monitoring your thoughts for a day. You will be amazed at your own ‘comparison habit’ that may have become so ingrained in your thinking that it seems natural.

When we decide to appreciate our own strengths we begin to learn to love ourselves for who we are – independent of others. Think about it. Do you often look at yourself and think, ‘I’m too this or not enough that.’ If so you are operating out of a mindset of lack. Are we the brightest, best looking, most successful person in the whole world? Maybe not – but are we learning about ourselves and working to become more of what we can be everyday? Absolutely! The thought of not being perfect is just that – a negative thought that comes from judgment and comparison – two self defeating habits. As Franklin Roosevelt said, “Comparison is the thief of joy.” How superficial it is to fall into the habit of comparison thinking. We have no idea what other people’s journey is all about. How can we logically compare ourselves to them? The poem “Desiderata,” speaks beautifully to the thought of comparison:

“If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements, as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career… Be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the Universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the Universe is unfolding as it should.”

When we start living in the Now and stop our on going comparison of self to others we begin to make the intuitive leaps in knowing and understanding that are our birthright. We give ourselves the license to believe, achieve and manifest our highest intentions. Life becomes an exciting adventure full of twists and turns that make us stronger everyday. We can pat ourselves on the back and say, ‘I’ve upgraded my operating system and it feels good! Now I have time to appreciate me!’

Do You Have 2 Minutes?

In my last blog I talked about the importance of gratitude in our lives. Practicing thoughts of gratitude helps us generate a more positive outlook which can fuel our engines as we face another day or another challenge. I mentioned the importance of developing a habit of taking just two minutes each morning to think about two things for which you are grateful for before getting out of bed. Training ourselves to focus on the things in life for which we are grateful goes a long way in keeping us tuned in to the positive energy in the Universe. It helps us keep perspective and gives us greater self confidence in handling the challenging events that will just naturally surface in our lives. Why? When we come from a mindset of gratitude we have an entire storehouse of mental and emotional strength for which to draw upon when needed. We basically come from a position of greater confidence in ourselves to be able to handle whatever surfaces in our lives. We look ahead rather than behind. Practicing thoughts of gratitude is so important because the way we think results in the way we feel and the way we feel is the way we vibrate which naturally then attracts more of the same type of energy to us. What are you attracting?

This quick two minute exercise each morning stops us from perseverating on the past or worrying about the future. It keeps us focused on the only thing we can truly effect in the moment …the present. Much of our energy is often times spent worrying about the ‘what ifs’ in life. Remember the adage that we spend 99% of our time worrying about things that never come to pass? We can get control of this self defeating behavior when we choose to live in gratitude. Is our life perfect – probably not – but are there some pretty good things happening to us from time to time? Absolutely! Those are the things we need to give more thought to in order to live a life of greater happiness.

When we begin to pay more attention to what is occupying the majority of our thinking it can be life changing. For instance, many of us have become so conditioned to receiving negative information from the 24/7 news cycle or other social media sites that we are in a constant state of worry without even realizing it. I am not suggesting to remain uninformed about the world around us but simply to evaluate how much negative information we are allowing ourselves to be bombarded with on a daily basis. Some of us even listen two or three times to the news of the day and each time a little more negative mindset or worry starts to cling on to us without our even realizing it. We can be informed without being immersed. Just like the rest of life – it is a matter of balance.

It’s all about energy. We can be either its master or its victim. When we realize that we can choose the type of energy that we allow ourselves to be surrounded by we are taking control of our own destiny. We choose to be the captain of our own ship – steering it in the direction we choose. When the storms come we know exactly what created them and how to remain in control – by staying true to the course we have chosen for our lives.

Taking two minutes each morning to start out our day out with feelings of gratitude for both the big and little things in our lives empowers us to attract more positive energy and our days go smoother. Try it and see for yourself. You’ll be glad you did!

Have a great few days!

Live in Gratitude!

We are made up of constant pulsating energy that is radiating out in waves with every thought and emotion that we experience. It’s, as if, we are holding an antennae that sends out our energy and receives energy back from others. Like the signals received from a satellite we are in a constant state of energy exchange. Often, we realize just how powerful our own energy is when we are thinking about someone and all of a sudden, out of the blue, they contact us. At first we are surprised, maybe even a bit amazed with the synchronicity of the contact until we realize we initiated the it when we we sent out thought waves of energy to them.

Realizing that each of us responds to our own energy as well as the energy of others it is important to realize what messages we are giving out and are willing to receive back. We do have a choice. We hear people make the comment from time to time about someone who just ‘drains their energy.’ Think about that statement for a minute. Visualize what that really means. If you become more aware of how you are feeling when you communicate with someone who seems to sap your energy you can do something about it.

People who drain our energy seem to live in a constant state of, ‘Ain’t it awful…’ They may not use these exact words but their talk is filled with a victim mentality. They really do see their cup as half-empty and just to be sure you realize how tough they have it in life they mention in conversation everything that has gone awry lately. Talking with folks like this is exhausting. We think to ourselves that maybe we can help them – lift their spirits and we may, momentarily, but depending upon what level of energy drainer they are they may often hasten back to their own comfort zone of, ‘poor me’ as quickly as possible.

Our own energy is too important to allow it to be hijacked by others. There are a few approaches to try to help these ‘energy drainers’ but it is ultimately up to them to choose their own view of the world. After all, you simply can’t make others happy it is up to them to choose. For some energy drainers at Level 1 who have simply fallen into a habit of seeing lack we can help them by consistently pointing out the many positives we see in life. They just need a guiding hand to pull them back to a more positive mindset. For the Level 2 energy drainers we may need to train ourselves to ignore their subtle and not so subtle messages of ‘poor me.’ When they don’t get the attention or sympathy they want they often up the ante and add more and more negative statements about their life. Pretty soon it just wears us out but we continue to try to redirect their thinking until we see the task as fruitless. For Level 3 energy drainers we may just have to limit our contact with them. Their egos are so entrenched with getting attention and sympathy for all they see going wrong in life that to change is something they flatly refuse to do. They truly believe that others are out to take advantage or get them. They have the right to choose their life path and ultimately, limiting our own contact with them may simply be an act of self preservation. We were not put on this earth to fix others – we are simply not that powerful.

Our only responsibility is to keep ourselves in a positive state of mind. We can do this by practicing gratitude. Each morning before getting out of bed or even opening your eyes take just two minutes to think about a couple of things that you are grateful for in your life. Notice the warm feelings of gratitude you are experiencing. By regularly practicing this simple exercise it becomes a habit before you know it. Life takes on a deeper, richer meaning. This is one habit that will positively influence the rest of your life and just think … it all starts out by just taking a mere two minutes each morning. It takes concerted effort to see life as an opportunity and not a burden but is so worth it. Those that do can be easily recognized because they are the ones who are surrounded by others because of the positive energy they are giving off. We feel energized just being around them. They light up a room by their presence. Let’s make a pact to become one of them!

Hearing is Believing!

When we experience the death of a loved one our world changes dramatically. Although the light hasn’t gone out in our eyes it is dimmed. Colors seem less vibrant, conversations less stimulating and our energy depleted. We may silently wonder to ourselves, ” Where are they? Are they okay?” Often talking about these thoughts with our friends or even family members just doesn’t work. So we keep reiterating these question to ourselves digging a deeper hole of grief that seems to engulf us. Although we may have heard ideas about the spirit continuing to exist, we struggle to wrap our minds around the concept of our loved ones being in a different dimension – heaven – or whatever label you are most comfortable using. I understand … I have walked in those shoes. I have read that the depth of our loss is directly proportional to the depth of our love. The deepest chasm we can imagine pales by comparison to our own feelings of loss. We keep thinking, “It’s not the natural order of things, someone got this mixed up, rewind!” The pain seems unbearable as we struggle to put one foot slowly in front of the other. We seek something that will help us know we can get through it – visibly bruised and battered – but still in one piece.

When I lost my son, the salve that comforted my broken heart came in two forms. First, I started reading books from other parents who had lost their child. Interestingly, many had penned these books 10 years after the loss. I get it now. It takes that long to be willingly to resurrect those gut wrenching feelings that rendered us both hopeless and helpless when it happened. Those books helped immensely. Most talked about signs, indicators of their child’s presence and all served to confirm to this bleeding heart that if these parents made it though this so can I. Signs, indicators? How do I get these I wondered a million and one times over the first few months.

The Universe responded to my heartfelt plea. The second form of help came in a delicate package from another state. Someone, an angel on earth, who changed my life. The Universe knew what I was seeking ( confirmation that my son didn’t simply disappear into the cosmos) and orchestrated a meeting with this person to help me make the connection with my son that I so desperately needed. Before talking with her my grief was so deep that even when presented with obvious signs that his spirit was alive and well, I dismissed them thinking that my mind was playing tricks on me. Through her assistance I have been able to hear from my son, in his own words for well over a decade. I decided to write about it in the book I published entitled, “Just Behind the Door.” My objective was to help others achieve the sense of greater peace and understanding that I have received.

When we write about loss, disclosing our innermost feelings and fears it can be a healing mechanism not only for ourselves but for other fellow travelers along the way. Yes, our loved ones still exists, albeit in a different form. In this case hearing is believing. I have referred hundreds of people to this person and every single time have heard how astonished they were that they were told such specific information. If you want to learn more about my decade of communication you can order a copy of the book through AuthorHouse.com. You will know, intuitively, if the book is right for you or as a gift for someone else. Let your feelings lead the way.

There is a great deal of solace achieved when we hear specific phrases or information that only our loved one who has passed on could know. It confirms to us that this type of connection is real. It lifts the heavy burden of grief off our shoulders by proving that their life was no brief candle but rather a perpetual flame that continues to burn brightly – somewhere – somehow – and is always available to give us comfort.
